Communities are public or semi-public spaces where kink-minded people can connect beyond their private hierarchies. While hierarchies are private relationship spaces, communities are social spaces for:
- Discussion and advice
- Finding like-minded people
- Learning and education
- Event announcements
- Support and friendship

Interest-Based Communities
Communities focused on specific interests or practices:

Safe spaces for support and advice:

Discussion Threads
Start and participate in discussions:
- Create new threads on topics
- Reply to existing discussions
- React to posts

Member Directory
Find and connect with community members:
- Browse member profiles
- Filter by role, interests, location
- Send connection requests
- Start direct messages (with permission)

Community events and gatherings:

Joining Communities

Browse Communities
Navigate to the Communities section to see available communities.

Review Community Info
Read the description, rules, and member count before joining.

Request to Join
Click "Join" for open communities or "Request to Join" for approval-required communities.

Wait for Approval (if required)
Some communities require moderator approval before you can participate.

Community Guidelines
All communities must follow platform-wide guidelines:
- Consent is paramount - no unsolicited advances
- Respect all members regardless of role or experience
- No outing or sharing private information
- Keep explicit content in appropriate channels
- Follow each community's specific rules
- Report violations to moderators
Creating a Community

Community creation will be available to verified users with established accounts. Requirements and the creation process will be detailed here when the feature launches.
Privacy in Communities
What's Visible
- Your community display name
- Your profile (to the extent you've made it public)
- Your posts and reactions within the community
What's Private
- Your hierarchies - never visible in communities
- Your private profile information
- Your activity in other communities (unless you share it)
Profile Separation
Your community profile is separate from your hierarchy presence. You can choose:
- Different display names in different contexts
- What information is visible to community members
- Who can send you direct messages
Badges & Recognition
Earn badges for community participation:
- Helpful: Recognized for helpful answers
- Contributor: Regular quality posts
- Mentor: Helping newcomers
- Event Organizer: Organizing community events
- Verified: Identity verification complete
Referral System
Invite others to communities you enjoy:
- Generate referral codes
- Track who joined through your referrals
- Earn recognition for growing the community
Moderation & Safety
Reporting Content
Report inappropriate content to community moderators:
- Click the three-dot menu on the content
- Select "Report"
- Choose the reason
- Add details if needed
- Submit
Blocking Members
Block community members who make you uncomfortable:
- Their content becomes hidden to you
- They cannot send you DMs
- They won't see you in member directories
