What is the Points Store?
The Points Store is a reward marketplace where members can redeem points earned from completing tasks. It provides a gamified incentive system to motivate task completion and recognize achievements.
How Points Work

Earning Points
Members earn points primarily through task completion:
Task-Based Points
- Task Rewards: Tasks can be assigned point values (e.g., 10 points for "Clean kitchen")
- Automatic Award: Points are automatically awarded when tasks are marked complete
- Priority Bonuses: High-priority tasks may offer bonus points
- Streak Bonuses: Completing tasks on consecutive days earns multipliers

Your points balance never expires. Save them up for high-value rewards or spend them as you earn them.
Browsing the Points Store
View all available rewards in your organization's points store:

Navigate to Points Store
Click "Points Store" in the main navigation menu.

View Available Items
Browse all items with their point costs, descriptions, and availability.

Check Your Balance
Your current point balance is displayed at the top of the page.

Filter and Sort
Filter by point cost range or category. Sort by cost, popularity, or newest items.
Redeeming Points
To purchase an item from the points store:

Select an Item
Click on the reward you want to redeem.

Review Details
Read the full description, point cost, and any redemption instructions.

Click "Redeem"
Confirm you want to spend the points. Points are deducted from your balance.

Receive Reward
Follow any instructions for claiming the reward. Admins are notified of the redemption.
⚠ No Refunds
Point redemptions are final. Make sure you really want the reward before confirming your purchase.
Managing the Points Store (Admins)
Organization admins can create and manage items in the points store.
Adding Store Items

Navigate to Store Management
Go to Points Store → Manage Items

Click "Add Item"
Enter item name, description, and point cost.

Set Availability
Choose whether the item is always available or limited quantity.

Add Image (Optional)
Upload an image to make the item more appealing.

Save Item
The item appears in the store immediately.
Item Properties
- Name: Short, descriptive name (e.g., "30-minute massage")
- Description: Full details and redemption instructions
- Point Cost: How many points required to redeem
- Stock: Unlimited or limited quantity
- Category: Group items by type (physical, experience, privilege, etc.)
- Availability: Enable/disable item in the store
Fulfilling Redemptions
When a member redeems an item:
- Admins receive a notification
- View redemption in Store Management → Redemptions
- Contact member to arrange fulfillment
- Mark redemption as fulfilled when complete
Points History
Track your points earnings and spending:
- Earnings: See which tasks earned you points and when
- Spending: View your redemption history
- Balance Changes: Complete transaction log
- Export: Download your points history as CSV
